Bhutan’s only international airport is in Paro, in western Bhutan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are direct flights into Paro from Singapore<\/strong>, Dubai<\/strong>, India<\/strong>, Bangladesh<\/strong>, Thailand<\/strong> and Nepal<\/strong>, via the national carrier, Druk Air (Royal Bhutan Airlines)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bhutan Airlines<\/a> are opening up more routes all the time, including from many airports in India, plus Nepal, Hong Kong, Vietnam, and Malaysia.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

If you are an Indian National, you can drive into Bhutan in your own vehicle. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

All visitors to Bhutan must have a valid visa before traveling. You can apply yourself, or have us, your tour operator, or hotel apply on your behalf, but it’s a very simple application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The application includes payment of the Sustainable Development Fee<\/strong> (SDF), (set at US$100 per day<\/strong> until 2027), plus a one-off visa application fee of US$40 <\/strong>(+ $10 for a 24 hour processing turnaround), and a Pledge of Friendship <\/strong>to the people of Bhutan.
